The event kicks off in the Scottish Highlands at Fort William on Saturday afternoon, when you and your team of 4-6 walkers will take on the first of the mighty three mountains – Ben Nevis measuring 1,334m.

An early-morning ascent is scheduled to tackle Scafell Pike, standing at 978m. With tired muscles, it’s time to summon all your strength and scale the last of the highest peaks in this challenge – Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales at 1,085m, on Sunday afternoon.

The Three Peaks Challenge is a classic mountain adventure that will leave you recounting tales of your achievement for months to come!
By participating in the Three Peaks Challenge you’ll be helping Village Aid fund partners who are improving the lives and livelihoods of poor communities in West Africa.
This is your chance to enjoy a challenging experience and make a difference to the lives of poor people around the world, whatever their race or faith. To take part just register for £50, and agree to raise a minimum sponsorship of £500 to join the Village Aid team.
Ben Nevis 1,334m
Guide time: 5 hours 30 minutes
The Village Aid Three Peaks Challenge will begin in Glen Nevis at the Ben Nevis Visitors’ Centre. The ascent of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK starts at 4pm.
Scafell Pike 978m
Guide time: 4 hours 30 minutes
Scafell Pike in the Lake District – the highest mountain in England – is a formidable mountain. In our challenge you will ascend from the Seathwaite side.
The total average time for this mountain will be four and a half hours. Great team spirit will see you through to the last peak in north Wales.
Snowdon 1,085m
Guide time: 4 hours
The final peak is the culmination of months of hard work and dedication. You will ascend and descend via the Llanberis Path, which broadly parallels the Snowdon Mountain Railway.
A minimum of two drivers are required who will also be acting as a support crew providing energy-boosting refreshments and encouragement. They will be acting as a vital role in guaranteeing your success.
