Business in Bakewell supporting business in West Africa.
Saturday 10th May was a usual day for many of us, but Minimo, the women and childrens-wear shop on Bridge Street in Bakewell were opening their doors to more than just their clients.
Having agreed to give a percentage of their profits from that day to Village Aid, clients purchases not only added to their wardrobe, but also supported small businesses in West Africa.
Jo Williams, Village Aid’s Donor development Manager said “On behalf of all of Village Aid, and our partners in West Africa, we would like to extend a large thank you to Melanie at Minimo. Local support and raising awareness is key to Village Aid’s work. We would be pleased to hear of any other local businesses who would like to show their support in this way.”
