Africa Matters appeal launched
Africa Matters!
At Village Aid's AGM, Executive Director Susanne Garnett launched a major two year appeal "Africa Matters".
The aim of the appeal is to raise £100,000 over two years in the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. The money will support current programmes with 10,000 people in West Africa.
Schools, groups, churches, universities and businesses are called upon to demonstrate that they too believe that Africa Matters.
