FSI Challenge 2011

With 2011 New Year celebrations now nothing more than a distant memory and the sun once again peeking from behind the clouds, Village Aid looks towards its next active fundraising event.
The Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI) is an organisation whose sole aim is to support and empower small charities to fulfil their potential. One way in which they do this is by taking the leg work out of events organisation and using what resources they have to support others.

On Saturday July 2nd the founder of FSI, Emma Harrison (owner of Thornbridge Hall in Ashford, Derbyshire and star of Channel 4's Secret Millionaire) will be opening the doors of her estate and hosting a charity fundraising challenge.
Set amidst the backdrop of Thornbridge hall and its grounds there will be a 10km or 4km run, depending on your ability or the degree of the challenge you want to take on.

Village Aid are looking for as many people as possible to take part in this fundraising challenge and raise vital money for the work of Village Aid and our West African partners. Fundraising for the event is not mandatory but as a guide we are asking participants to raise £20 for the 4km route and £50 for the 10km route.

So if you are interested in taking part or simply in spending a beautiful (fingers crossed) summers day in the grounds of one of Derbyshires most magnificent country estates then download the registration form below and forward to james@villageaid.org.
