This New Year Village Aid is inviting you to bridge the gap between Britain and Africa.
For six weeks starting on the 1st February we are inviting people to get sponsored and contribute their ‘workout’ miles so that we can virtually travel to Africa and back together. Our 7,500 mile journey will take us from Bakewell over the North Atlantic Ocean and on a tour of Western Africa through The Gambia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon and back.
It’s simple. For every mile that you run, cycle, swim, row or walk from February 1st until mid March 2010 you commit to raise £1.
7,500 miles £7,500, all of which will go to Village Aids continuing work supporting partner community organisations in West Africa.
