Village Aid and our partner organisations work to empower people, equipping them with skills and vital resources so they can change their own lives, and the wider community, for the better.
What your legacy could achieve
If you are able to support Village Aid by leaving a gift in your Will, it would mean so much to rural communities in Africa.
As a small charity with low overheads, we can ensure that your gift goes to where the need is greatest. Your gift can enable us to continue our life-changing work; ensuring we can continue to support some of the world’s most disadvantaged communities.
£500 could set up a local beekeeping association, enabling a community to develop a honey and wax enterprise for local markets.
£5,311 could pay for the set up of Shea butter enterprises in a village in Northern Ghana; enabling women to set up their own sustainable income generation.
If you have any questions or if you would like to discuss this further, please contact Poppy Gilbert in our Bakewell office on email@example.com or phone 01629 814 434.
If you don’t already have a Will, why not take part in Make A Will Fortnight 2017 from March 13-24 and contact one of our partner solicitors to have your Will made up in exchange for a donation to Village Aid.
