Ride London
YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO HELP SOME OF THE WORLD’S MOST DISADVANTAGED RURAL COMMUNITIES

Prudential Ride London: a cycling challenge like no other

We are looking for 6 passionate (but not necessarily professional!) cyclists to join ‘Team Village Aid’ and cycle 100 miles in the 2017 Ride London event. This epic cycling event follows the Olympic Torch route out of the Olympic park, through the city and out to Surrey before heading back to the finish line on The Mall.  There is no other closed-road event like it; taking a cue from the London Marathon, amateurs and professionals alike are watched by thousands of roadside spectators and the race broadcast live to millions across the world.

We welcome applications from individuals or teams (of up to 6) and just like we have with the London Marathon, we are offering to cover the registration fee if each participant commits to raising £300

Based in Bakewell, but partnered with larger international development organisation Concern Universal, we work together with our in-country partners to reduce poverty and inequality in communities in West Africa.  Your money raised through challenges like Ride London goes towards ensuring better health and sanitation, education and livelihoods for disadvantaged families in the communities we work in.

Should you wish to register your interest as an individual, team or corporate, please complete an application form below or if you have any queries please contact Chrissy Cattle at Village Aid on 01629 814 434 or chrissy.cattle@villageaid.org
