Vodafone Intern Scheme Benefits Village Aid

The Vodafone 'World of Difference' Scheme has only been running for two years. The aim of this programme is to fully fund around 500 two month work placements for volunteers into charities throughout the UK. In its short time the scheme has successfully placed over one thousand volunteers into work placements.
This March, Village Aid welcomes 'World of Difference' intern Becky Frankham in her new role of 'Fundraising Assistant'. Working closely with all Village Aid staff Becky will be involved in the day to day running of our Bakewell office and working closely with James (Fundraising Officer) and Keith (Marketing Director) to invigorate, encourage and organise our volunteer network and arrange and execute our 2011 fundraising plans.
As part of her placement Becky will be keeping a blog of her experiences and you can follow her insights here. Village Aid are extremely excited to welcome Becky for the next two months and look forward to our mutual partnership with Vodafone.
